It's Art: Benedict Chocobatch Bunnies

File this one under: Why do people like Benedict Cumberbatch so much?

Every now and then, The Creators Project comes across an artwork that surprises and delights us every bit as much as it confuses us and otherwise has us begging for answers. This is art that defies conventions, challenges sensibilities, and breaks down barriers between comprehension and critique. You might like it—you might not "get it." But we do. Take a deep breath, and before you read this, remember: it's art.

I'm definitely on the right side of history (but maybe not popular opinion) when I say that, beyond being a mean-spirited one-liner better suited for Dennis Miller c. 1993, while having Benedict Cumberbatch play the androgynous trans model, All, in Zoolander 2 wasn't quite as irresponsible as having Elle Fanning play the titular trans star of 2015's About Ray, it was undoubtedly just as tactless. Sure, it was fun watching him grind on some carpet while pretending to be Smaug, and The Imitation Game was Academy Awards-worthy levels of boring, but I don't know what the big deal is with Benedict Cumberbatch acclaim.

Fans will be fans either way, and thankfully there's one thing we can all agree on: these Chocolate Cumberbunny sweets from the UK's Chocolatician look good enough to (at least) bite the heads off of. Starting at £50 a pop, food artist Jen Lindsey-Clark's edible sculptures cost quite a bit more than your average Cadbury bunny, but according to Metro.uk, go to a good cause: "Jen is auctioning off a bronzed version of the Benny to raise cash for Calais refugees, and in the meantime is selling them on her website."
