It takes some serious, serious effort to make Mike Francesa the reasonable one in a screaming match, but Brian in Washington, D.C. pulled it off flawlessly. Brian's operating theory is that the media, Francesa included, isn't happy with the racial makeup of the New England Patriots offense. There are too many white guys on the roster and the liberal media is pushing a reverse racist agenda via deflated footballs. Tiger Woods somehow factors in heavily to this theory, which is either too obvious to be wrong, or the dumbest thing you have ever heard in your life.
Francesa's program has been a treasure trove of takes this afternoon, with an earlier caller from Maine getting under the host's skin because he wanted to talk about Brady and his ballhandlers being "totally, totally innocent" due to atmospheric pressure and kangaroo courts.
