What the hell did you just watch, you might ask? The straightforward explanation is that it's the trailer for the Bee Movie recreated with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2's editor, setting down different ground tiles as pixels and taking snapshots to create a stop-motion video. It comes complete with the "The Following Preview Has Been Approved For All Audiences" screen and goes downhill—or uphill, depending on your tolerance for the absurd —from there.
This creation leaves us with more questions than answers. How long did this take? Does anyone know where Jerry Seinfeld went? Is he secretly posting videos under the name JustinBeiberIsPoop? Why are people so obsessed with meme-ing Bee Movie, a nearly 10 year old film about one woman's questionable relationship with a talking bee? Why are people still obsessed with Rollercoaster Tycoon, a game that came out 14 years ago? (That's a trick question; it's an awesome game). Why undertake this in Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, and not, say, MS Paint or Mario Paint? What would George Michael say about "Freedom" living on like this, if he could speak for himself today? Would he be appalled or honored?
There are no words, only enormous respect for this dedication and genius. Thank you, JustinBeiberIsPoop.
