Calvin Harris Finally Confirms Collaboration with Frank Ocean and Migos

The track is called "Slide," but it doesn't yet have an official release date.

The world's highest paid DJ, Calvin Harris, today confirmed that he will release a new collaborative single with Frank Ocean and Migos called "Slide." Harris has been teasing the song since January, when he first posted a video to Snapchat of what sounded like a collaboration between himself and Ocean. Yesterday he hyped the track some more by Snapchatting what sounded like Migos member Offset rapping over the same song.

Based off Harris' grainy videos, it seems like "Slide" will be a breezy, striding tune, yet still moody and introverted. It was recorded at God's Eyes studios in Los Angeles, and all of the song's instrumentation was performed by Harris himself. The back cover of the single artwork, which Harris tweeted, details the various synths, guitars, and drum machines he used, including the Roland TR-808, Fender Rhodes electric piano, and PPG Wave 2.2 synth.

Nickelodeon recently added an EDM category to the Kids' Choice Awards, and Harris is up against the likes of Major Lazer and Martin Garrix for Favorite DJ/EDM Artist.

As of now, there is no official release date for "Slide."
