Streets frontman Mike Skinner's been relatively quiet of late. It seems that in between filming Doctor Who cameos and recording three hour country music specials for BBC 6Music, he's been honing his camera skills. Turning his life into an extended tour documentary, Skinner's proven himself to be an adept filmmaker, producing interesting, affecting, amusing shorts on everything from a Middle Eastern holiday to meditations on the meaning of driving.Throughout THUMP's time with him at the Bugged Out Weekender, from the pool party to Papa Johns, Skinner was looking at life through his lens. When he asked us to film him sat solemnly in a deserted children's changing room we politely asked what it was all about. This, it turns out, was what he was doing all along. The video for "You Better Be" is a surprisingly coherent take on a heavy weekend.
