These Goofy Wildlife Photos Capture Animals at Their Least Graceful

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards showcases the world’s quirkiest, funniest and cutest animals.

The animal kingdom is full of characters, and nothing showcases that better than The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards.

The contest, which will announce winners at an award show on Nov. 9 in London, features entries of a stilt-walking mouse, a grinning frog and a fox who got a little in over his head. The entries have been pared down to a top 40 so far, according to The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards.

Here are some of the superstars of awkward:

The contest is meant to bring a big of humor to the world of wildlife photography, as well as to encourage conversations around animal conservation, the organization website states. But it was also the best part of our day.
