Center of Gravity has become a force of its own in the festival scene in British Columbia. This year, the Kelowna event is packed with dance music talent from all over the world including headliners Calvin Harris and Morgan Page. But the party isn't just focused on the main stage; this year's Beach stage will be featuring some of the hottest new producers and DJs in the scene, including some Canadian talent.

To prepare you for the three day festivities, the Beach stage gets an early start at around 12 PM. So while you're grabbing your midday drinks and keeping hydrated under the sun, make sure you get the proper start to your weekend and head to the Beach stage to check these guys out:

Chris Lake:

Friday at 4:00 PM—5:15 PM

Probably one of the most recognized names to hit the Beach stage this year, Chris Lake has been one of the world's top producers for the past few years. Known for his electro-pop crossover and funky grooves, Chris brings a modern house sound to the stage. In 2012, Chris signed with Ultra Music, and has since performed to sold out audiences globally. His latest release "Squeak" premiered July 18th and is guaranteed to be a killer track this summer. From nightclubs to festivals and on to Kelowna's Beach stage, the CoG's crowd will not be disappointed with his set—especially if he spins his classics "Carry Me Away" and "Changes."

BOTNEK:

Saturday 4:00 PM—5:15 PM

A few weeks ago, BOTNEK tweeted that the highlight of their weekend/life is "playing Backstreet Boys for a second during their set." When DJ's tweet that kind of stuff, you can't help but be curious as to what they will do next. This Montreal duo has supported some of the most recognized names in the electronic dance music world: including Pete Tong, Zedd and Porter Robinson. In 2012, they released—what is possibly the best name for an EP—"Sriracha & Beer." And earlier this summer, their remix of The Chainsmokers' "#Selfie" topped charts, a remix which is bound to be heard at CoG.

TORRO TORRO:

Saturday 4:00 PM—5:15 PM

After catching BOTNEK's epic set, get ready to turn up the dancing when Toronto's TORRO TORRO hit the stage. The handsome duo Mike "Digits" Gonek and Evan "Yo Ev" Norton bring an energetic presence and distinct party sound that will keep you wanting more. Influenced by hip-hop, electronic dance music and tropical rhythms, TORRO TORRO's original productions and remixes have landed them in some of the world's biggest dance music festivals. The boys' recent remix of Dillon Francis' "Without You" is bass and beat heavy while their high-powered remix of Zedd's "Clarity" are both guaranteed crowd pleasers. Hold your drinks high when you dance, the drops are heavy.

Timeline:

Sunday 3:15 PM—4:00 PM

A Vancouver producer and award winning DJ, Timeline is resident to one of the most popular house nights in the city. Timeline's original productions and DJ style are a blend of electro house that has been recognized by labels globally, with tracks released on Sander Kleinenberg's Little Mountain Recordings, Cologne Germany's top techno label BluFin Records, New Yorks' Black Van and Decibel Records and San Francisco's Omnis Recordings. Timeline's sexy beats will set the tone for the last day of the festival.

BORGEOUS:

Sunday at 4:00 PM—5:15 PM

Even if his name doesn't sound familiar, you may recognize his massive hit "Tsunami" which was on heavy rotation last year at bars, clubs, your headphones and of course, festivals. The American DJ/producer is a natural on festival stages, frequenting major stages including Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Electric Zoo.
