Enjoy A Lazy Sunday in Vienna With This Poetic Short Film

Alex Soloviev’s latest “visual poem" takes you on a visit to the Schönbrunn Palace.
Screencaps via

Like his other "visual poems," Soloviev's film is dubbed with a poetry reciting, building new associations around the circulating images. Lazy Vienna features a poem by 20th century English poet A. S. J Tessimond. Soloviev intermittently interrupts the short film with tabbed black and white snapshots, a unique sort of transition that makes you feel like a photographer, walking around the palace grounds taking photos of the scenery and visiting tourist.
