Kevin Harlan Gives Wonderful Play-By-Play of Fans on the Field Yet Again on MNF

Kevin Harlan once again provides the excitement for an otherwise terrible MNF game when two idiots ran onto the field during Jets-Colts.

By far the best thing to come out of this season's slate of Monday Night Football games is the numerous opportunities for radio broadcaster Kevin Harlan to perfect his calls of fans running onto the field.

His latest masterpiece came during Monday's obscenely tedious clash between the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts. Two fans ran onto the field as he and Boomer Esiason called the action. It started off slowly, until a state trooper absolutely leveled Idiot Fan No. 1, prompting an "Ooooooooooooooh, did you see that tackle?" from Harlan.

To his credit, Esiason may have made the call of the night as Idiot Fan No. 2 was likewise cold-cocked by a security guard: "They're actually hitting harder than the Jets defense."

This isn't the first time Harlan has wowed with a superlative call of on-field fan antics during an otherwise crappy MNF game. He pulled a similar trick during a 49ers game against the Los Angeles Rams in San Francisco all the way back in Week 1. The San Francisco call was superior, but only because the fan who rushed the field put on a better show than the fans in New Jersey last night.

The Colts beat the Jets 41-10.
