Funk Up Your Life with Slow Hands' New EP 'Everything (We Are)'

Guitar-led goodness from a Wolf + Lamb mainstay.

The Wolf + Lamb label has no shortage of stylish gents on their roster—rumor has it that the boys of Soul Clap trim their beards with a golden tweezer—but longtime signee Slow Hands (Ryan Cavanagh) might take the proverbial cake. I mean, how about those suspenders?

After a steady stream of singles and remixes, the native Vermonter has finally emerged with his first EP Everything (We Are). With a variety of organic sounds, including a live rhythm section, guitar, and Cavanagh's own vocals, it all adds up to a stylish five-track romp through funk territory—with Cameo Culture (Dave Robertson) coming in for a rock-inspired reiterpretation of the title track at the end. All of these warm, fuzzy sounds amount to one thing: your sweater weather soundtrack never sounded as good.
