Audrey Napoleon is Ardency Inn’s New Eyeliner Headliner
The makeup range and the DJ have teamed up for a holiday product that will make you a stunner on the decks or in the crowd.
It's a partnership so fitting, there will be more than a few people kicking themselves today. With the launch of its new holiday product ranges, makeup line Ardency Inn is unveiling its new eyeliner headliner, DJ/producer Audrey Napoleon. The Modster eyeliner kits include Ardency Inn's signature product in black, blue and gold, designed to last well into a night (or morning) of clubbing or just working up a sweat at your best friend's holiday party.
"Music and fashion have always been how I've expressed myself," Napoleon explains. "Creating something beautiful that allows others to express themselves has always been a dream of mine."
If you don't know Napoleon by her darkly tech and delightfully rough-edged beats, you may recognize her by her signature style, typically one that does right by Alexander McQueen as much as every kandi-hating raver. To say Napoleon does eyeliner right is an understatement, as the producer backs up formidable tunes like "Dope a la Mode" and "Count on You," her 2013 collab with Jessie Andrews, with strongly applied makeup that reinforces, rather than distracts from, her presence on stage and in the DJ booth.
With Ardency Inn, Napoleon joins only Nervo as dance music artists with cosmetics contracts (the duo has been signed with Cover Girl since 2012). It also expands Napoleon's own reach beyond typical nightlife sponsor deals into lifestyle products that fans of electronic music —45% of whom are women— regularly use.
Napoleon also points out that the durability of Modster is part of its appeal. "I've cried to a great song and I've performed many shows with the product on and it stays in place," she adds. "Plus, it's easy to take the make-up from a day to night look."
