I don't actually think creationism is the domain of idiots. People believe wrong things for plenty of reasons that have nothing to do with intellect; I have loads of bright and well-meaning friends that believe that GMOs are way evil and that suction cups applied to the skin are capable of curing real physical ailments. A proper response intended to change someone's hardened idea about a thing isn't firing lightning bolts down from Mount Science—as I'm plenty guity of doing—but good information delivered elegantly and from solid ground.That's what this video, courtesy of the animators at Kurzgesagt (via Brain Pickings), is: elegant and complete, a story well told.@everydayelk
