Melania to Ivana: I’m First Lady, Yes I’m the First Lady

All you other first ladies are just imitating.

In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America on Monday, President Trump's first wife, Ivana, made a huge mistake while promoting her new memoir, Raising Trump. She called herself the "first lady."

"I have the direct number to White House but I don't really want to call him there because Melania is there and I don't really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I'm basically first Trump wife, OK? I'm first lady, OK?" Ivana said.

Now, because a former reality TV star is leading the free world, this seemingly benign joke earned itself an official response from the White House. Shortly after the interview, Trump's current wife, Melania, responded through her spokesperson, and hoo-boy, can you believe this lady (the real first one) is also starting an initiative against bullying?

Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, DC, and is honored by her role as first lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise.

Will the real first lady please stand up? Please stand up. Please stand up.
