Kentucky Derby-Winning Trainer Bob Baffert Listens to Post Malone Every Day

Apparently, the trainer of Preakness hopeful Justify is really big into "Psycho" by the face-tattooed white rapper.

Post Malone isn't for everybody—that whole white rapper thing understandably rubs people the wrong way. (It's 2018.) But not 65-year-old horse man Bob Baffert. He's lapping that shit up.

Baffert is the trainer of Justify—the Kentucky Derby winning horse that's running at a 1-2 favorite for the Preakness Stakes—and apparently he fucks with Post Malone on the daily. Like, actually daily. According to sports reporter John Lewis of WDRB, Baffert slaps Malone's "Psycho" every 24 hours:

I, uh, wow. OK, that felt a little left field. Dude looks like the human manifestation of the words "LL Bean." Who'd have thunk?

"I'm glad to see Post Malone here," Baffert said during Wednesday's Preakness draw, per the Baltimore Sun. "He's a character. I actually, I really listen to his music."

Baffert apparently met Post Malone with his kids at the Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park in January, according to the Sun and was maybe already kind of a stan.

Hilariously enough, the whole topic of Post Malone came up because Post is going to be headlining the Preakness InfieldFest, which is, you know, somewhat surprising, considering horse people. Can't wait for Baffert to carefully nod his head to the "Psycho" lyrics:

You should see the whip, promise I can take yo bitch
Dolla ridin' in an old school Chevy, it's a drop top
Boolin' with a thot-thot, she gon' give me top-top
Just one switch, I can make the ass drop

But let's be honest—regardless of what happens with Justify this weekend—"White Iverson" is a pretty good name for Baffert's next horse.
