You're going to be shocked that Austin and I found a way to talk about Spelunky again, but it's for a good cause: we're in love with the Castlevania-inspired roguelike Dead Cells. Elsewhere, Danielle explains how she spent 48 hours finishing Prey, and Rob introduces us to the complicated galactic politics of Endless Space 2. Our brief dip into The Question Bucket has us musing about how playing games in a similar genre can help us understand what makes them tick.

Interaction with you is a big part of this new podcast, so make sure to send any questions you have for us to gaming@vice.com with the header "Questions." (Without the quotes!) We can't guarantee we'll answer all of your questions, but rest assured, we'll be taking a look at them.

Remember: we record live on our Twitch. Keep an eye on Twitter (@waypoint) on Monday and Friday morning, if you want to know when we're getting started.

Make sure to swing back to Waypoint on Friday for the next episode.
