Hanna's "Twombley's Glen" Drifts Along on Glistening Harmonies

The legendary Cleveland house wizard debuts a new album on Steven Julien's Apron label.

Hanna, the Cleveland-born, Chicago-based producer whose real name is Warren Harris, has been gently unleashing succulent house music since the late 90s, with celebrated tracks on labels like Theo Parrish's Sound Signature. He released his last album Bless in 2016—this month, the producer returns with another master class in simple yet effective grooves in the form of his latest record, The Never End on London producer and DJ Funkineven's Apron label. Throughout six tracks Harris continues his exploration of live soundscapes that twirl between ambient tones and bright house melodies, remaining light in nature while still potent enough to move the floor.
