Catch a Surprise 'Rick and Morty' Livestream on Adult Swim Thursday

Will it be a new episode? Or a season three release date? No one really knows.

The wait for the third season of Rick and Morty has felt longer than the lines at Interdimensional Customs, but that may all be coming to an end. On Monday co-creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon announced plans for a last-minute Rick and Morty livestream, airing Thursday night on Adult Swim's website.

There's no word on what the livestream will be, exactly. A new episode? A season three release date? A live fistfight between Roiland and Harmon? Harmon has already apologized to fans for "taking way too long" on the new season, blaming the production delays on the writing. But a few months back, on April Fools' Day, Adult Swim surprise-released the stellar season three debut episode—so if this livestream is anything like that, we're in for something wonderful.

The stream airs on Thursday evening at 9 PM (6 PM PST) on AdultSwim.com live from Los Angeles. "Don't miss it," Adult Swim writes, "or be late. Trust us."

While we eagerly wait for Thursday to roll around, go back and suck some old Rick and Morty episodes into your brain to prime the pump. Wubalubadubdub!
