Celebrating 25 Years With Marco Bailey

Stream our exclusive premiere off Marco's upcoming compilation.

25 years is a long time. For musicians, especially electronic dance music producers, 25 years is a lifetime. And yet, for the last 25 years, Marco Bailey has been a fixture and a luminary in the electronic dance music scene from its early years in the underground all the way up to its mainstream explosion at the turn of the decade. Most of you reading this were probably still wearing diapers when Marco Bailey first started throwing raves and pushing the boundaries of techno music, but at this point, it doesn't look like he's ever going to stop.

In celebration of his extraordinary career in the studio and behind the decks, some of his (and our) favourite producers in the techno world including Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, UMEK, and Carlo Lio have joined forces with MB Elektronics to rework Bailey's classic songs for a new compilation, 25 Years. THUMP has been given an exclusive premiere of one of the tracks off the compilation, "Muzika," remixed by UK's finest export and techno icon, Nic Fanciulli. Unsurprisingly, given the two names involved, the tune is a dark and devious dance number that conjures up images of hot, sweaty clubs and star-studded outdoor festivals. Listen to the exclusive stream up above and make sure to pick up 25 Years when it drops on August 11th.

Here's to the next 25 years, Marco.
