It's been a whirlwind week for The Avalanches. The beloved Australian band announced the upcoming release of Wildflower, their first album in 16 years. On Thursday, the group dropped the video for "Frankie Sinatra," the album's lead single featuring guest verses from rappers Danny Brown and MF Doom. The track channels the group's signature plunderphonics sound while incorporating electro swing and calypso elements.

Last night, the group performed "Frankie Sinatra" as well as "Subways," another track from Wildflower, during Primavera Sound. Fan-recorded video shows the group performing in front of a packed audience. The group also combined "Frankie Sinatra" with "Frontier Psychiatrist," a popular track from their debut album, Since I Left You.

Their new album will include guest appearances from Father John Misty, Toro y Moi, and Biz Markie, among others. Wildflower comes out July 8 on Astralwerks.
