In 1989, a cult classic film followed the fictional storyline of one Iowa farmer's struggles. In Field of Dreams, Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) is seen walking through a cornfield, looking like he's about to lose his damn mind while some creepy, random voice whispers, "If you build it, they will come." (Spoiler alert: He was actually kind of losing his mind, but he decided to plow the cornfield anyway and put a baseball diamond on it because baseball is the answer to almost everything). Good thing he did.
It seemed impossible: a dude with a vision and a field packed with too many corncobs in the middle of nowhere. And while that film was completely fictional, its message remains true today: if you build something great, people will probably come—especially if you are a talented innovator with solid ideas. In 2016, Denmark has the world's highest share of organic produce, but one Michelin-starred chef wants to take this statistic to next level, and he's starting with milk.
