The Acid Get a Sexytime Remix From Lovers Anonymous

The international trio are on a good one opening for Alt-J

The Acid have been on a triumphant run since emerging last year. Their sleepy sadboy dance beats sit somewhere between organic and electronic and the response has been immediate – They've been handpicked to open for Alt-J on their current North American tour and have been signed to the inimitable Mute Records.

The trio, which features Aussie pop-leaning singer Ry X and UK Breakbeat stalwart Adam Freeland alongside Steve Nalepa, AKA the guy who played a big part in bringing THUMP favs Team Supreme together, is an underground supergroup of sorts. Their track "Fame" elicits favorable comparisons to fellow thoughtful groovers Caribou and John Talabot.

On the remix tip is the mysterious Lovers Anonymous. Not much is known about them except the following: "it's a newly formed collaboration between an established artist and his/her lover. "Liminal has been the soundtrack to our love affair," they told THUMP. Sounds…sultry. We're down.
