Pre-embargo American cars are still used in Havana and around Cuba. Ones with all original parts are extremely expensive but most have been rebuilt by specialized "talleros" at this point. Most of them are older people who grew up with these cars and know them inside-out. There are weeks-long waiting lists to get any work done and tons of demand.
