A ragtag group of Futurama fans have been putting together the live-action movie nobody was ever sure that we needed, and today we get to see how it's coming along. Below, you can check out a brand new trailer highlighting the impressive visual effects, costumes, set building, and prosthetics independant producer Dan Lanigan has packed into the film, entitled Fan-O-Rama.

Set to drop later this year according to IMDB, the film has apparently faced its fair share of pitfalls over the past two years, including livestock ordinances, food poisoning, child labor laws, and parents who don’t keep their mouths shut. Film essayist Kaptainkristian recently pointed out that the writers of the film collectively have "three PhDs, seven Masters degrees, and 50 collective years at Harvard," we're unsure what to expect from the plot. The trailer describes it as the following, "Three stalwart heroes and their single-minded mission for the sweet elixir of life: beer," so it could go anywhere. But the attention to detail and filmmakers love for their source material demonstrated in this short trailer are enough to have us shouting, "Shut up and take my money!"
