Young voters watching Monday night's presidential debate managed to come out on the other side of 90-plus minutes of convoluted answers, sniffles, shoulder shrugs, jabs, and interruptions with a renewed support for Hillary Clinton, according to a new PPP poll.

Even though Clinton has been underperforming with the younger demographic, 63 percent of voters under 30 believed she won the debate, and 47 percent said her performance increased their chances of voting for her in November. Additionally, 39 percent of young voters said the debate made them less likely to vote for Trump.

The Democratic nominee has tried a whole slew of things to get hip with young voters. She's made appearances on shows like Zach Galifianakis's "Between Two Ferns" and Broad City, upped her Twitter game, and rallied the casts of classic TV shows—like West Wing and Will & Grace—to campaign for her.

But as it turns out, according to the poll, all Clinton had to do to get young voters' attentions was outperform a bumbling Donald Trump with calm, coherent answers. Her takedown of Trump's sexists remarks probably didn't hurt either.
