NASA’s PMC Turbo mission captured new views of polar mesospheric clouds from a five-day balloon flight over the Arctic.
"Things were flying. Passengers throwing up. Scariest flight of my life," one passenger said.

Ironically, the downside to having modern computers in planes lies in their susceptibility to that most contemporary of threats—hacking.
Passengers said it felt like a "giant hand hit the plane."
"We avoid turbulence because it's stressful for passengers," says former military pilot Keith Tonkin, "but for pilots it's just not an issue."
