Es claro tanto en su obra como en su perfil de Twitter que la ilustradora Jeannie Phan adora a los gatos. Al lado de flores, postres y ciencia, estos animales se muestran recurrentemente en sus dibujos autobiográficos, mientras que ella es más conocida por sus relajantes y sutiles GIFs. La artista canadiense también es experta en ilustrar sus sentimientos sobre la vida diaria.
