Near the Rabaa Al-Adawiya Mosque in Nasr City in Cairo, hundreds of supporters of the deposed Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood party voiced their disbelief that the mechanisms of democracy that installed their leader were so summarily dismissed by the Egyptian Military. As the demonstration moved to the headquarters of the Egyptian Republican Guard, where Morsi is supposedly being held, the Egyptian army fired tear gas at them. Almost immediately rounds of gunfire went off as well.
