Once there was a fire in my building, so I grabbed my very nice camera and started taking photos. It never occurred to me that a civilian dude standing outside a burning building taking pictures fits the police profile for a crazy arsonist. The police people sniffed my clothes and everything. I was allowed to go home, but minutes later seven policemen stormed my apartment. A policewoman took my gear and I had to go through a lot of hassle to get my films back.

We'd been smoking like Indians all day long. I was so out of it I felt like I was coming down with an extra chromosome. The police appeared out of nowhere and, at least to me, for no apparent reason. There was a lot of screaming and shouting, flashlights in my eyes and impossible questions to answer. I freaked out when they told me I might not be able to take my exams. I was in custody for a couple of hours and then I got a ticket. Down payment is about €40 a month.

I used to work at a really shady café. There was definitely some serious shit going on in there, but I was just a waitress. It was my day off and I had been in the studio recording all day. On my way home I stopped by the place where I worked to use the bathroom. When I was in there the police came and raided the whole place and I was dragged out and placed into custody. It was a fairly big operation with TV cameras and lots of journalists having a frenzy with it. I wasn't even stoned.

My looks have always been getting me in lots of trouble with the police. Since I was like 14, cops have been mistaking me for a junkie. One time I was playing with my friends and some kids on an old tractor and one policeman thought I had been shooting up. That was insane. I don't think badly of the police though. Whenever I’m drunk I always want to hug them.

This story was in all the papers. I had a boyfriend from Colombia. He was driving a BMW 3 Series and had gold teeth. He was a nice guy, but he used to get pulled over all the time. I was with him on eight different occasions but they never found anything wrong. Last time it happened a police car followed us to his parents’ house and stopped us right outside their garage. It was really unnecessary. The story hit the news stations and shortly after that a new law was in place to prevent shit like that.

When Miriam from Fox ‘n’ Wolf and I had our big moving out party things got out of hand and somebody called the police. The party was crazy with people all smeared with ketchup. It looked like a scene from a horror movie. The police closed down the party and everybody had to go. The ketchup people fell asleep and stank up my apartment.

I was downtown munching on a kebab when these incredibly rude fuckers from Somalia came up to me and my friend and started badgering us, giving us racial shit. They told me my mother was a whore, WTF? I was 16 and got stunned at first, but then I grabbed one of them by the ears, dragged him out in the street and punched him in the face. The police showed up and I flipped the story on them, saying my mother had told me not to come to this part of town and so on. I showed my ID and the fuckers from Somalia got canned.
