Breaking news: billionaire heiress (that should be one word, billionairess) Daphne Guinness, who famously got thrown out of her Manhattan apartment for letting the bath run over and leak into her downstairs neighbours ALL THE TIME, has recorded a single. Released by SHOWstudio, the video was shot by Nick Knight (who seems to freaking love DG), produced in part by Marie Schuller, and is basically the Gareth Pugh version of Tara Palmer Tompkinson's "5 Seconds". Still, while Guinness is, especially in the context of our current social climate, pretty easy to abhor with all her Twitter angst and moody selfies, she has always been incredibly supportive of young, penniless British Designers. And I suppose it's now our chance to support her. Or maybe just not be mean about her music. Or, I don't know, just avoid the subject ever again. Look at least she didn't use Kickstarter to raise funds for her video, right Zosia? Jeez.

The newest H&M collaboration was announced this week and I have to say, I'm a lot more excited by it than the prospect of wearing a bikini ghost-designed by Beyonce. It is, if you didn't see the title of the video literally right above these words, the queen of leather trousers, embellishment and killer jackets, Isabel Marant. I'm a big fan of Isabel Marant, even if you couldn't afford to buy one tassle off a £3000 pair of her cheapest pyjama trousers or whatever else they display upstairs at Selfridges, you have to appreciate the extent to which she's being ripped off hardcore by an onslaught of crappy overpriced high street retailers like The Kooples, Sandro and Maje. While I'll probably never see one piece of this collection in real life because gee, people freaking love queueing up outside H&M to hoarde all the designer shit and immediately throw it on ebay, I have a feeling it's set to be a great collection. More power to you, Marant.Follow Bertie on Twitter: @bertiebrandesPreviously –Another Week, Another Fatally Misjudged Fashion Experiment
