Looks Like Olga Kurylenko Is About to Join the Majors

And more film stuff from the Grolsch Film Works blog.

A REVIEW OF 'TO THE WONDER'

After the cosmically ambitious The Tree of Life, Terrence Malick's most commercially and artistically successful film since 1978's Days Of Heaven, you'd have thought the reclusive director might need to take his foot off the pedal, say with a remake, a buddy-buddy cop flick or perhaps another 20-year rest. But he's back – only 12 months later – with this Moogy meditation on the transience of love.

A LIST OF THE WORST LINE DELIVERIES

It's only a matter of days until we discover who the Academy of Arts deem to be the best performances of the past year. Jennifer Lawerence in Silver Linings Playbook? Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln? They all make it look so easy. You know who doesn't make it look easy though? These guys and their inability to deliver lines in a manner in which any human would. Ever. You know what's worse? There's actually two Academy Award winners and an Academy Award nominee in this list.
