The Black Lips gig at Heaven last night was the sweaty, naked rock’n’roll riot we hoped for/ expected/ wouldn’t be happy with otherwise. Cole Alexander responded to pleas from the venue’s security staff to calm the crowd down by playing guitar with his dick before diving into the crowd with his pants around his ankles. After guesting on vocals earlier in the night with the also awesome King Kahn & BBQ, Jared Swilley spent the last few songs playing bass on top of lots of people in the pit down front.
