Watch Giana Factory's Video for "Lemon Moon" Featuring Exorcist Bob Larson

This Danish synth-pop trio incorporate a real life exorcism in their latest video.

We first became aware of the teenage exorcists last year when VICE traveled to Ukraine to investigate Reverend Bob Larson and his daughter Brynne, plus her two besties Tess and Savannah. Under Larson's tutelage this perky teen trio lay their hands on ex-drug addtis, not to mention the mentally disturbed and emotionally damaged. Their job was to expunge these poor people of the evil spirits inhabiting their souls. Truly this doc reveals more about mass hysteria, human desperation, one man's desire to exploit this. It's truly fascinating and you can watch the full doc here.

All of which brings us to the return of the Giana Factory and the first single off their forthcoming second album Lemon Moon. Fronted by Loui Foo (sister of Sharin of The Raveonettes) and flanked by Lisbet Fritze and Sofie Johanne, the Danish trio specialize in a wintry wonderful kind of pop—all throbbing synths, quivering guitars, and clipped canned beats. Music made human by Loui's effortlessly expelled vocals which are downy soft but belie and cool confidence. Check "Rainbow Girl" for evidence.
