Justin Bieber threw up onstage this weekend. He was performing a song called "Out of Town Girl" when the contents of his stomach – milk, allegedly – exited his body through his mouth. All the girls in the audience continued screaming throughout, as his dancers paraded around his puke pile.

Labour want to build 100,000 affordable new homes to help first-time buyers get started in the property game. Shadow chancellor Ed Balls will announce the plans in his keynote speech at the Labour conference in Manchester this week. Balls will say they can raise the £3-4 billion needed to build the homes by selling the 4G mobile spectrum. Apparently they also want to give first-time buyers a two-year holiday from paying stamp duty. Light Entertainment

A documentary to be shown on ITV this week contains claims from five women who say they were sexually abused by Jimmy Savile when they were young girls. The youngest of the girls featured in the programme was 13 when the abuse allegedly happened. The former TV presenter died last October at the age of 84. His family aren't very happy about the claims, arguing that it's wrong to make them when Jimmy isn't alive to defend himself. Bombs

A suicide bombing in the eastern Afghan city Khost has claimed the lives of at least 14 people. Three of the dead were Nato soldiers. The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attacks, which also killed four Afghan cops. A further 60 people were wounded. Sport

The golfers of Europe rallied to an against-all-odds victory in the Ryder Cup last night. They had been 10-6 down going into the final day of the competition, with the US only needing to win four and half points from 12 that were up for grabs for victory. But Europe smashed it, claiming eight and a half to win 14.5 – 13.5. The Europeans dedicated their win to the late Seve Ballesteros, the former captain who has provided many of the competition's finest moments.
