Some Of Our Films Got Shown In A Cinema Last Night

Dave Courtney showed up to share our popcorn at the Raindance Film Festival.

As you may already know, we screened four of our films at the Raindance Film Festival last night. And what varied films they were, taking in everything from the militia-lead battle for conflict minerals in Congo, to the lives of celebrity-obsessed super-fans; from the ongoing sectarian Troubles in Belfast, to London’s sprawling underground fraud network.

A Q&A with the producers and presenters followed the screenings. On the panel was VICE's Global Editor Andy Capper, TV presenter and ("world's most uninspiring") journalist Billie Porter, crime writer and investigative journalist Graham Johnson, and Tony Sales, one of Britain’s most successful fraudsters.

Oh, and Dave Courtney showed up. That's him up there with the producers of Fraud.

As it's 2011, here are some links to watch the films online, rather than in the cinema:

The VICE Guide to Congo

You'll have to wait a bit for the other two films we showed. Roseboy and Friends and The VICE Guide to Belfast are both coming soon.
