Earlier this year, VICE Films and Grolsch Film Works teamed up with the directors Harmony Korine, Alexey Fedorchenko and Jan Kwiecinski to make a three-part film called The Fourth Dimension. Now, Grolsch Film Works have a new website where you can find out what they’ve been up to and read/watch interesting stuff about films. Every week we'll be plucking the highlights. This is that.

Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix) and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) have created a nearly three-hour long, sci-fi epic of bloated overproduction and banal profundity, whose narrative incoherence, glorious lack of self-awareness and laughably terrible prosthetics may be enough to shake Hollywood financiers out of their money-throwing fog, and begs the question: how can three successful directors, sitting on an ample pile of other people’s moolah, have made such a dog’s dinner of it? Several critics have pointed to the fact that Cloud Atlas may be a cinematic game-changer in terms of refreshing a debate about how much budget Hollywood films need to spend. In which case, it has done its job, and we may never speak of it again.
