The XX Unveil New Music

Can I say that I didn’t/ don’t get The xx? Is that allowed yet? I like them in that that really big hit they had has soundtracked the tense moments of all my favorite dramality programs, and Jamie xx being allowed to fly solo post their debut has allowed him to be great, but that’s about as far as my affections extend.

BUT ANYWAY, a very brief, camera-phone clip of them performing an as-yet-untitled track from a gig at Chats Palace in Hackney, London, has cropped up on the internet much to the delight of the BBC who now have something new to soundtrack the Olympics.

Pros: For a shitty one-minute snippet the track sounds pretty tight.

Cons: It’s still a shitty, one-minute snippet, and really nothing for anyone to lose their tiny mind over just yet. NO PRESSURE NOW.
