In februari publiceerden we een verhaal over de vluchtelingenkampen in Calais, kortweg de Jungle genoemd. Mocht je je afvragen wat er met de mensen in dat kamp is gebeurd, dan is hier je antwoord: de Franse regering heeft het kamp deze week laten ontruimen. Volgens Mathieu Berenholc, de Franse hoofdredacteur van Vice, is dit een ramp voor de vluchtelingen in het kamp: "The main question is: where will they go now? 250 or so of them have been arrested and they will be sent back to Afghanistan. The others will wander around Calais in other camps. So the problem has just been displaced for reasons of populistic political gains." Waarvan akte.
