Berlin producer Boys Noize' (a.k.a. Alex Ridha) has shared new details about his upcoming fourth album, set to arrive May 20 via his own label Boysnoize Records. Titled Mayday, the full-length features collaborations with Benga, Hudson Mohawke, rappers Spank Rock and Remy Banks, and Minneapolis band Poliça.

Ridha premiered a new song from the album called "Starchild" on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show this week and talked about how he came to work with Poliça on the mellow tune.

"Justin Vernon from Bon Iver, he invited me to play his festival, and it was funny because I was the only DJ playing at the festival," Ridha told Lowe. "All day it was super-chill and relaxed music, and then at the end they were all in the mosh pit, banging their heads."

Vernon connected Ridha to Poliça, and they spent three days in the studio working on tracks, resulting in "Starchild," which you can listen to below.
