On January 22, Spectrum Spools, the European offshoot of the American experimental electronic label Editions Mego, will release Yves De Mey's newest LP Drawn With Shadow Pens. The Antwerp based musician who began as a techno-oriented DJ has over the years increasingly experimented with soundscapes over beats. All of this is evident in the stream of new single "Adamance," which is littered with creepy, distorted bumps.
