It's the 5th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

BILD is reporting Kevin Prince Boateng's move from Schalke to Sporting Lisbon might be off because Boateng failed his medical. The player hasn't exactly gotten on well at Schalke, and the club seems desperate to unload him.

Last night Bayern Munich played AC Milan in a preseason tournament. Milan midfielder/hitman Nigel de Jong went after Joshua Kimmich, which in turn pissed of Pep Guardiola something fierce.

Guardiola went after de Jong in the tunnel after the match. I don't know if there was too much to it. De Jong has a reputation, no doubt, but maybe Guardiola was just in a weird head space. Here he is in a presser before the tournament:

Sky Sports has nailed down a new TV contract with Spain's La Liga and will continue to broadcast the Spanish top flight for the next three seasons.

In an advertisement for its new signings, Liverpool misspelled the name of it's new keeper, Ádám Bogdán (which, in fairness, is a doozy, but still).
