Last summer I was lucky enough to collaborate with Maia Ruth Lee, an artist from Nepal and Korea on a photo workshop outside of Kathmandu. We lived at a school for rescued street kids for four days. Five children selected from the rescue school and five deaf children, who came from another school, attended the four-day workshop. Within five minutes the kids saw a poisonous snake, bashed it with a shovel, and threw it out in a field. I knew it would be an interesting four days! At the end everyone cried. 'Twas awesome. Thanks to everyone involved in this project and a special thanks to Peter Chung.
