The internet is responsible for a multilingual hero: the online translator. Anyone who has ever used one of these translation sites, though, will know how utterly dodgy the results can be. The Japanese, it seems, are yet to realise this elementary fact; they regularly use a computerised translator for their signs, notices and everything they want in English.
