Panda to Sochi: Budapest on Video

I became partner in crime with east-european proably finest female street-artist, also called Miss KK. We are hooked with Budapest for other reasons too. See why!

The night started in Budapest and the city was triumphing with its massive antique buildings. We felt in love from first sight and wanted to stay there for longer. We also have been stoked by a very special person. Her name ist Miss KK, and her eyes will remain in our memories and the certainness that her art will keep on making Budapest to a better place.

Miss KK is an street-artist since about eight years and is influenced by pop-icons. Moreover she is fascinated by RAP and one of the very few successful female artists in this scene. And that‘s why we have been so interested in getting to know her better. The best way to do it, is to adapt to her life for a moment. We went with her on a artsy ramble at a dangerous time, it was saturday night and Budapest was willing to party.

Taxi are, as I know by know (thanks Miss KK) as dangerous as police-cars, at least for streetartists. Cab-drivers tell the police when they see someone doing something what we did. We really hope Miss KK never has to go to jail for two or three years and will keep on bringing her „Dolls“ (thats how she is calling her poster-collages) onto the streets.

In the next morning we had to get back into our roadtrip-manner and head to russia. On the far end of Budapest we found a dirt-spot for Stefan. The bmx-pro showed us his element and rocked this spot heavily. So after this, we all have been satisfied and continued our trip to rumania. Have a look at the video!
