Michigan State Snaps Ohio State's 23-Game Win Streak with a Glorious Field Goal, Celebration

Good enough to make even the kicker's dance look cool.

No one cares about their team's kicker until they have to. And let's just say that Michigan State certainly cares about their kicker right now. A lot.

After coming off of a season where they were hyped to be God's gift to football, Michigan State witnessed their downfall against an unranked Nebraska with a controversial call, setting them back to 9th in the rankings. But if there was any consolation to the dip in their estimated perfect season, it's beating defending champions and No. 3 Buckeyes with a last-second 41-yard field goal, turning Ohio State's 23-game win streak into ashes. All of this at the hands (foot?) of a certain kicker named Michael Geiger.

Geiger, a junior, didn't even have the best night, after missing a 35-yard field goal earlier in the windy game:

But despite the six extra yards, Geiger liked what he saw this time. He liked what he saw a lot. Michigan State's coach kept calling time outs to put the gentleman in his right mindset, and the right mindset he found. So much so, that after sending the ball through the uprights, he concocted this nerdy little celebration to go along with it.

Geiger, it don't matter that your little dance was weird as hell. It has now just become the coolest dance imaginable. Because all of a sudden, people care about their kicker. Nerd on, Geiger. Nerd on.
