Win Tickets to VICE's Favourite Emerging Writers' Festival Events

Meet new writer friends, and maybe mingle with some future Miles Franklin winners.

Some of the late night action at last year's festival

Every year, the Emerging Writers' Festival brings hundreds of up-and-coming Australian word nerds together in Melbourne for eleven days of panel talks, masterclasses, late night readings, performances and parties. Journalists, authors, Twitter celebrities, zine makers, and poets converge to discuss ideas for first novels, trade industry secrets, and share their favourite podcasts at literary events all over the city.

This year's festival runs from June 14 to 24, and VICE is partnering with EWF for three of the best events. There's a YouTube party at ACMI presented by i-D, where a panel of writers show their favourite clips on the big screen; a women's writing conference, presented by our women's site Broadly; and an exclusive industry-focused emerging editor panel featuring i-D Australia's editor, Wendy Syfret. Get ready to pick up valuable insider tips about writing and editing, meet new writer friends, and maybe mingle with some future Miles Franklin winners.

To celebrate the opening of the festival next week, we're giving away passes to all three events. For your chance to win, enter below.
