Last summer 23-year-old photographer Lasse Dearman wrote an email to New York publishers Pau Wau Publications commending them on the quality of their work. They replied saying the feeling was mutual and whether he would want to publish something with them. Lasse went on to pick out 21 photos – taken in London, New York and Copenhagen over the past year – and these photos have now made their way into his debut book entitled Split Second Feeling. The publication is down to a limited edition of 150 copies and has a fragmented stream of photo-consciousness feel to it. We’re really happy to be the first to show some shots from it here.If you happen to be in Copenhagen next week, there will be an official release at Gallery V1. The release doubles as a going away party since Lasse is off to study at the Glasgow School of Art this fall.
