Kern's Girl of the Week - Julia

Every week Richard Kern invites us to his L.E.S. apartment where we go through a huge box of archival photographs from his long and checkered career. Today's model is Julia, a mysterious Pole with a puffy face.

VICE: This one hasn’t had any kids.
Richard: No, those nipples have never been chewed on. This was taken in Poland in 2004. My wife, who’s Polish, said “If you ever want to go to Poland, we can get my cousin to hook us up.” We went there and somehow her cousin got a hold of a lot of good models. We had a casting. I don’t know if the models had any idea what the casting was about—I always wonder this. I know when we do VICE castings it’s really obvious. But with something like this, I have no idea what they know. But this girl, I just thought she was really hot.

What do you find hot about her?
Her boobs, lips, full face… her whole body. She’s pretty tall, and there's something about her face—that puffy face. But I don’t know anything about her. I think she was a student, but that’s all. I met her for one day, we did the shoot and that was it. She had a lot of good stuff, like that underwear. It was hers. Her name is Julia, or Yue-lee-uh, as they would say.
