A cherry tomato Doc Marten boot sits on its tofu platform overlooking text messages from my landlord. Tender baked black baby rats are rinsed and drained, then piled into the corner of the dish where they play next to a smiling slice of clementine. Just take one bite and your senses will thank you. The crunch of these fresh greens explode like a child's hands beating on glass into the night. Take another bite, this time you notice something salty, next time umami, next time my friends wearing mood rings holding hands at dim sum.
