Ruby Fray Is Playing Tonight and Tomorrow in NY

I will make a point to write about Emily Beanblossom, and any band she's in, until the end of time, because I have a big fat crush on her. That's about as legit as it gets.

Emily is the former lead singer for the band Christmas, and possibly even the current lead singer of that band, but it's hard to say because I'm, not really sure what's going on with them, and all the members live in different cities now. Emily's new band is called Ruby Fray, and they just released their first full-length album, Pith, on K. Here's a video of them practicing at Dub Narcotic Studio in Olympia, Washington:

Ruby Fray is playing tonight at Cake Shop, and tomorrow at Death By Audio. Go see them.
