We take competitions pretty seriously here at VICE. It’s the reason why we use an ancient battle-to-the-death kung-fu style tournament in the Outworld realm to select our interns. (Only the strongest journalism students survive.) Given our love of bloodsport, we jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with Holden and Impossible Project on the Timeless in an Instant photo competition, where we invited photographers from the world over to submit their favorite memory-capturing instant film for a chance to be included in fall exhibitions at Impossible’s NYC, Vienna, and Tokyo galleries.

To get this project rolling, Holden and VICE chose ten renowned photographers to submit their work and act as a judges for the contest. Today, we’re stoked to announce that they have selected the winners (with help from the team at Holden Outerwear) and that no photographers were harmed in this competition, however, there is always next year…Grand Prize
